Something old and something new

Hello Dolly Fans

This week I have been using the netflix account to see what films I have never seen before, as James is away in the US of A, I thought I would watch something different so I can let him know about it when he returns, first up was LoveLace, I was sceptical about this as I had heard it was violent, but Amanda Seyfrid was ace, and played the porn  star very well, there was such a story and it surprised me that she was a star for such a short time and was abused by his husband and manager, she also wrote a book, plus James Franco plays Hugh Heffner!!

So after that as it was a bit dark , I decided to brighten the mood and watch Down to You, this is Julia Stiles and Freddie Prinze Jr, I love the comedy and romantic and the talking to the camera style, so this cheered me up ! Watch She's all that, and Ten things I hate about You, it's the same style of Film!

Also this weekI bought A new film! Begin Again with Keira Knightly and Mark Ruffalo , I like music as well as films, and this joined the two, James cordon is in it too, plus the guy from Maroon 5!!!! I thought it was a love story but it was more about the music and friendship can save you and let you remember who you are, I enjoyed this film a lot and It made me feel like I should be a better friend to my special Girls, but I should see them all at Christmas! Including Lindsay!

Also this week I went to see some of my crafty friends at The a Bearded Tit market , this is a new market at Crowd of Favours on Harper Street, and I met Sphie from Onetensevenzero, I love her pieces and already own some, but bought a few more, also Bridie from Born to Thread and Gemma from Melodies Jewellery , as I'm a massive Indiegeek I also went to the corn exchange craft fair and Alice Found Treasure and Mad Elizabeth and to see my good mate Bo Carter, what a day !!!!

Leo Time

Hello Dolly fans,

James has deserted the Dolly HQ for almost 3 weeks, so I'm catching up on Leo and Julia time, first up was Notting Hill as I haven't seen it for ages, and I'm trying to get my Julia Roberts collection up to date, but as Netflix is so good it's easy !!!

I have also been watching older films too, And a massive favourite is Romeo and Juliet , love Claire Danes and Leo of course, the soundtrack us really good as well, I have had it on iPod for years, plus such a great ensemble cast , tybalt is the prince of cats and guns referred as swords, plus a rock style soundtrack!!

I was 16 when this came out, almost 20 years ago!! Claire Danes was only 16 when she made it , Leo is so fit in this film, and the story so tragic and poignant , espically when they get married( sob)

When Mercutio dies, oh god, Harold perrinau is so good! Baz Lurmann is a brilliant director , I love all his films, Strictly Ballroom and Moulin Rouge, and the Great Gatesby, some of the ensemble cast, are in more than one film, so really this week is a Baz love in! It's all dramatic and tragic all at the same time!!
